Jeffrey Wiener Scholarship Fund

Tax deductible
Help save a scholarship honoring Jeffrey Wiener,  a victim of the September 11th attacks.

Jeffrey Wiener was a former resident of Trumbull, CT who was killed in the World Trade Center attacks of September 11th, 2001.

A remarkable young man, Jeff was a great success in high school, college, and beyond.  He displayed a lifelong passion for learning, fierce loyalty to friends and family, boundless empathy and understanding, and gentle strength as a leader.

Jeff was also an optimist, someone who believed deeply in the possibilities of what individuals could accomplish when they worked together.  The Jeffrey Wiener Scholarship was meant to reflect his belief in some small way.  He’d be proud to know that, so many years after the tragedy that took his life, something good could still come of it.

Since its inception in 2002, the Jeffrey Wiener Scholarship has been awarded each spring to recognize the achievement and potential of a promising senior at Trumbull High School, Jeff's alma mater.

Unfortunately, the balance of the Scholarship Fund is almost exhausted and as a result, this may be the final year of the scholarship's existence—unless we can work together to raise the necessary funds.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation to the Scholarship Fund in honor of Jeff, as a way to support future scholars and to honor Jeff’s memory.
